* This Classic Rock Spotlight features one of the best bands that ever graced the stages, The Doobie Brothers. Over the years there were many changes in the lineup. Some left and came back, some left and didn’t return and some even came in and changed the actual sound of the Doobie Brothers away from what the fans were accustomed to hearing.
*
But one thing is for certain, Tom Johnston is the voice of the Doobies and as long as he remains with the band then we can be assured of the sound that we remember so well from them. All the below videos are spanned over the years with different personnel at different venues and years.

What a great band with great music. So sit back and enjoy the below footage of this fantastic group.

These boys have been playing together for over 40 years and they are the heart and soul of rock and roll. With hit after hit and a fan base of loyal followers they are the ultimate rock band. The band mainly consists of frontman Mick Jagger along with Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood on guitar and Charlie Watts on drums.

This first video is one of my favorite songs by the Stones called Sympathy For The Devil. The second video is also of Sympathy For The Devil but it is an early version of The Stones back in 1969.

The next two videos are two different versions of the same song called Jumping Jack Flash.

This next video is a song off of their 1989 Steel Wheels album called Mixed Emotions.

The next three videos are all different versions of the same song and another one of my favorites called Gimme Shelter featuring the stunning Lisa Fischer. Each version is delivered in its own unique way.

This next video goes out to a very good friend of mine by the name of Mary Angela. This song inspired her parents to give her the name Angi. Love ya Mary Angela!

*The Classic Rock Spotlight series resembles the Classic Rock Rewind series found on the old Music OverDrive site.
*
This Spotlight features The Motor City Madman Ted Nugent with some footage from his younger days and some of his more recent performances.
*
The very last video has a dose of Ted’s vulgarity in it so if this might offend anyone please pass that one by or plug the kids ears if you still want to watch and listen as he does Stranglehold Live.
*
This first video is from 1977 as Uncle Ted does Great White Buffalo.
*
*

*
*
This next video is also Great White Buffalo but 10 years later in 1987. It gives you a chance to see what, if any difference 10 years makes in Teds performances.
*
*

*
*
Here is a little Cat Scratch Fever for you.
*
*

*
*
This next video is a nice dose of Ted Nugents not shy attitude as he gives us all a lesson.
*
*

*
*
This last video contains some of Uncle Teds famous vulgarity so beware if you decide to watch as he does Stranglehold Live.
*
*

*
*
Back in his higher flying days of the mid to late 70′s Ted Nugent was a bit more mobile, jumping off of his equipment as you can see from this video. Notice how he lands right on his backside but never misses a beat.

The band Fleetwood Mac goes way back to 1967 when it was formed in London. Mick Fleetwood is the original drummer and still with the band today as its only true original member. Bassist John McVie is next in line and he is also still with the band. Christine Perfect McVie joined the band in 1970. 1971 began the Bob Welch era of Fleetwood Mac and when he left, the band hired Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks in 1975.
Lindsey Buckingham, in my opinion, makes the band stand out with his excellent guitar playing and his vocals alongside Stevie Nicks.
*
*This first video is the early version of the band in 1969 doing Oh Well.
*
*
*
*This next video is during the Bob Welch era doing Miles Away in 1973.
*
*
*
*The next video was 1976 with Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks early years doing World Turning.
*
*
*
*This next video features Fleetwood Mac with Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks in 1982 doing Go Your Own Way.
*
*

*

*
Buckingham left the band for awhile but has now reunited and touring with them. The video below of Fleetwood Mac doing World Turning from 1987 has the two guitarists that replaced Lindsey Buckingham.

*
*
This next video is also from 1987 as they do The Chain.

And here is Fleetwood Mac in 2009 in an awesome video and performance again doing Go Your Own Way.
