Classic Rock Battle of the Bands Round 1
Welcome to Round 1 of the CLassic Rock Battle of the Bands. We are starting with 32 bands in the first round. The 16 winners of this round will advance to round two and match up against each other. Then these 8 winners will move on to round 3. Round 4 will match up those 4 winners and round 5 will feature the remaining 2 and crown an overall champion.
Vote for each band that you like best in each battle of Round One.

Classic Rock Rewind with REO Speedwagon

Every so often I like to do a rewind and feature a Classic Rock band that I have always liked. I am going to begin a weekly version of this featuring a different band each week so be sure to check it out.
This week REO Speedwagon gets the nod. I really like their music. It has the “kick up your heels” beat to it that I am constantly searching for.
REO had quite a few changes over the years concerning band members. That seemed to be a minor setback at times and a little tougher at others. At any rate, they were able to record some very good songs and are still touring today.
In my opinion, the bands that include a piano into their scheme of things can pump out some killer tunes. The ones that include a piano and an organ/ keyboard/ synthesizer are sure to crank it up and delight your eardrums.
