Classic Rock Rewind 3- Foghat

The group Foghat was formed in 1968 and produced their first album in 1972 titled “Foghat”. It featured one of their best known songs “I Just Want To Make Love To You”. The band went on to make some 18 more albums over the years.
Their 1975 album titled “Fool For The City” featured two more very popular songs in the title cut “Fool For The City” and “Slow Ride”. In 1977 they recorded a live album titled “Foghat Live” . In my opinion, this album featured their best sounding performance of the song i-just-want-to-make-love-to-you-live1 in a live version or otherwise. Also featured on this album is a song called “Honey Hush” that sounds a lot like the song “Train Kept A-Rolling” by “Aerosmith”.
I have always liked “Foghat”. Their type of music fit my style extremely well and like many other bands, became an instant favorite of mine as soon as I heard the song.
Below I have included some audio and video clips of the songs mentioned in this weeks Classic Rock Rewind . Enjoy the music provided by one of Classic Rock’s staple bands and tune in next week for Music OverDrive’s next Classic Rock Rewind.

I always say, show me some music that don’t include a set of skins and a pair of sticks in it and you haven’t shown me any music. In my next life watch for me as a drummer in a rock & roll band. :+)
