I am in the process of redesigning Music OverDrive so this version will be somewhat different than the last site and will offer you much more too. The Classic Rock Rewind on the old site is called the Classic Rock Spotlight now.

*

If you were looking for something from the old site and can’t find it here, I should have it back up soon. It will take me a while to get it like I want it so please bear with me during this transition. If you want to listen to music then check out the Classic Rock Songs section for some good tunes. Also be sure and check out the Name That Tune section to see if you really are a classic rocker.

If you are using Internet Explorer Web Browser it’s possible that the page may look funny to you. I am not sure why either. I use Opera browser. It’s faster and more stable than either IE or Firefox and I have had no problems at all with it. It is a refreshing change from the waiting and crashing that both IE and Firefox have been known to do. Try Opera and I think you will like it.

*You Can Get Opera Here And It’s Free.*

* This Classic Rock Spotlight features one of the best bands that ever graced the stages, The Doobie Brothers. Over the years there were many changes in the lineup. Some left and came back, some left and didn’t return and some even came in and changed the actual sound of the Doobie Brothers away from what the fans were accustomed to hearing.
*
But one thing is for certain, Tom Johnston is the voice of the Doobies and as long as he remains with the band then we can be assured of the sound that we remember so well from them. All the below videos are spanned over the years with different personnel at different venues and years.

What a great band with great music. So sit back and enjoy the below footage of this fantastic group.

These ladies could rock the house. L7 consisted of Donita Sparks on guitar and vocals. Suzi Gardner on guitar and vocals. Jennifer Finch on Base and vocals later replaced by Gail Greenwood and Dee Plakas on drums and a very good drummer she made I might add. One only needs to watch her bang those skins for that verification.

*
This first video has L7 live in Rio at the Hollywood Rock Festival back in 1993 doing Broomstick.
*
*

*
*
This second video is also Broomstick from a different concert.
*
*

*
*
The next video has them doing Right On Thru.
*
*

*
*
This video has some vulgarity in it as you can probably tell by the title.
*
*

*
*
This last video really tells and shows how wild the girls of L7 really were. But first here they are doing Stuck Here Again.
